1. Mempunyai pendapatan per kapita, iaitu kadar KDNK yang tinggi.
2. Peningkatan kadar celik IT di kalangan masyarakat Malaysia.
3. Kewujudan Bandar selamat dan bebas jenayah.
4. Tahap pendidikan di negara Malaysia semakin meningkat setanding negara maju yang lain.
5. Malaysia menjadikan sektor industri khususnya dalam eksport komoditi sebagai sektor utama dalam penglibatan aktiviti ekonomi negara.
6. Tahap kesihatan di kalangan rakyat Malaysia semakin meningkat.
7. Semakin bertambahnya populasi penempatan di kawasan bandar seluruh Malaysia.
8. Kadar jangka hayat rakyat Malaysia semakin meningkat.
9. Kadar kematian rakyat Malaysia setiap tahun adalah sedikit.
10. Kadar pertumbuhan populasi bergerak perlahan setiap tahun.

Inilah senarai ciri-ciri Malaysia sebagai sebuah negara maju akan selari dengan matlamat kerajaan untuk mencapai wawasan 2020.

Wawasan 2020.....bolehkah Malaysia mencapainya?

Malaysia tidak dapat mencapai matlamat wawasan 2020 kerana dari segi kemajuan, negara kita masih ramai lagi hidup di paras kemiskinan dan daif. Kita masih mempunyai tempat yang tidak mempunyai infrastruktur asas yang cukup. Di bandar-bandar besar pun termasuk yang sudah diberi taraf bandaraya masih dikelilingi setinggan lagi. Warung-warung kotor masih bersepah lagi dan batang-batang jalannya pun masih penuh dengan lopak-lopak dan keadaan keliling masih kotor. Kerajaan gagal memberi tumpuan serentak memajukan kawasan-kawasan pendalaman yang menderita tanpa pembangunan untuk membekalkan keperluan penduduk selesa dengan keperluan asas yang sempurna. Kita masih banyak lagi tempat-tempat terpencil dan terbiar tanpa didatangi kemajuan. Apabila setiap kali mahu mengadakan pilihan raya kecil di sesuatu kawasan, kerajaan terpaksa bergegas dan tergesa-gesa membaiki jalan, mengadakan lampu isyarat, membina surau dan masjid, memasang letrik, membesarkan longkang dan sebagainya. Padahal semua itu sepatutnya sudah sedia ada, bukan kerana pilihan raya Tambahan pula,suasana politik di negara kita tidak sentiasa stabil kerana begitu ramai lagi rakyat yang terputus daripada pembangunan sama rata antara semua kaum. Diparahkan lagi dengan masalah perkembangan ekonomi Malaysia yang tidak menentu.Ramalan pertumbuhan KDNK sebanyak 6 peratus untuk tempoh lima tahun akan datang akan mengikut jejak dua Rancangan Malaysia yang sebelumnya yang gagal mencapai sasaran KDNK mereka. Berdasarkan Rancangan Malaysia ke-7 dan ke-8, pertumbuhan ekonomi adalah sebanyak lima peratus dan 4.7 peratus masing-masing masih jauh di bawah sasaran 8.6 peratus dan enam peratus pada sasaran yang ditetapkan.Jika Malaysia mengekalkan trend pertumbuhan ekonomi enam peratus setahun ini untuk 10 tahun akan datang, adalah amat sukar bagi Malaysia untuk mencapai Wawasan 2020.

Major ISSUES in Jengka.

The most issues in Jengka is the problem of water supply. As all the residents in Jengka state that water problems are the most big problems for them. We need water for drinking, for cooking, for washing, for food, for industry, for energy, for transport, for rituals, for fun, for life. And it is not only we humans who need it; all life is dependent on water to survive. In Jengka, this problem is not happen in two or three times but it'll happen always. In a week, there must be one or two days, all residents in Jengka should face this problem. As we all know, water is the most important thing that we need in our daily. Without water,how would we survive? Most of the solutions to the crisis must be developed and implemented locally, and always with the view that water is not to be taken for granted, or unjustly appropriated by particular groups for particular needs. For us, we think that the necessary person should provide more water resources in Jengka so that we could prevent this problem from being happen again.

Next is the problem of street light and damage road. As all the residents in Jengka could see that almost all roads in Jengka having a damage roads. This problem can increase the accident in Jengka. As example, at road to U-Mart, there's a big hole there that may cause an accident or may broke the car that use that roads. Sometimes they just put a gravel on that hole and after two or three days, the gravel will be spread around the hole and make the road slippery. They should tell the necessary people to recover the roads so that would be safe to all residents there.

Besides that, there is also problem about lack of street light along the way to Jengka. This problem may cause an accident because some other time, they didnt notice any cow or else cross the road. When rainy day plus in a night, they may difficult to drive because lack of street light at the roads. Supposely, they should provides some light so that can make the residents there easier to drive at night and prevent accident cases in Jengka.

Last issue in Jengka is the rate of rental house for universities students. As we know, at other country the rent of one house just around RM400-RM600 only. if RM600 we can say that the house is fully provided the television, refrigator and many more. But in Jengka, they state that for student rate of rental house is >RM1000 but if family want to rent at there just around RM450-RM550 only. It's just not fair why that they make a higher price to the students. They might think that student doesnt have a financial problems maybe. Supposely, when they make a high price for the rent, it must be include with all bills which is electricity bill and water bill but unfortunately, they didn't including it so students should pay high cost for the rental house around RM120-RM150 for one students.
